We are in search of gardeners, from novice to accomplished, to join our active and fun club. Meet some great people from the area and learn about plants, flowers, and "best practice" gardening techniques.
We learn from one another as well as from experts.

Events & Workshops
The Ashland Garden Club holds several horticulture talks during the year to share our passion for gardening, nature and to build a sense of community in Ashland.
Most of these are free to the public and presented by highly regarded and experienced speakers.
​
In order to fund plantings in public spaces in Ashland and speaker programs for the public, we hold one or two major fundraising events each year. In addition, we have received some BAA grants from the Board of Selectman and grants from the Ashland Cultural Council.

Join the Ashland Garden Club for a Winter Succulent Terrarium Workshop!
If you miss the color green in the middle of the winter, if you are tired of the cold, if you have “cabin fever” but are full of creative energy – this workshop is for you!
We will create a small version of a succulent paradise in a bowl. All necessary supplies, such as bowls, soil, greenery, etc., will be provided. You don’t need to bring anything to the workshop except your creativity, and at the end of it you will leave with one completed terrarium. What can be better to break the winter blues?
If you would like to personalize your terrarium, consider bringing a small item such as a stone, shell, or bit of “bling” to make your own!!

Massachusetts Master Gardener and Ashland Garden Club member, Elena Lapitsky, will lead the workshop. Elena has extensive training and field experience in creating gardens, from mini terrariums to her large, natural and inspirational property here in Ashland. Join her in what will be a lively, fun, and uplifting event!!
